The Central Texas 6 Man Football League is restructuring into the The Texas 6 Man Football League. We are also opening our doors to all communities. We are currently looking for individuals that would like to represent at the district level.

Here are the districts broken down by counties: Districts 1 and 7 have been filled.

I am interested in this whole deal but I live in Hockley country and would not be able to find people to drive to Abilene to play if thats where we would be playing. Living ten minutes from Lubbock I would have a better chance getting people to play there.

To answer your question, you would only drive to Abilene if they had a Team there, which had home field advantage that week.

We're doing things a little different this year. This is no longer going to be considered Alumni football and will be open to everyone.

These are just a few of many changes we are making…..
1. Each District will have District rep assigned.
2. All scheduled games for the week will be played at the same Home field. The district rep will be the Leagues eyes to help cut out some of the previous issues we had in the past. They will also be the enforcement of League policies and decisions for their district.
3. To help cut overall costs we will not require the use of Goal Post, they will be optional. Fields without goal post will be 1 point conversion only. By doing this we will alleviate the need to use a HS field. We’re trying the best we can to keep our school names untainted from the actions of the ill minded.

If this thing does get big enough, the 6man community needs to make a push for a televised appearance. Need more attention, and gotta try to get it. If brackets fill up, maybe have East v. West Championship.
 
I like your thinking cap.... Before I die I'd like to see 6 man football at the 2 year colleges. Some may chuckle at the idea, but im not.
 
Would love to see that. Deepest I ever see it getting though as far as a D1 college goes would be a spring game schedule. But I think a 2 year college would be legitimate.

Maybe need to start questioning schools like Clarendon College and others.

Im stilll looking for district directors.

The only areas locked up are District 1 Temple and Distict 7 Brownwood.

I have interest in these District but nothing is locked up.
