Update: Since the uniforms rule was not passed by the NCAA, the UIL rule will reman the same as it was in 2023. I thought there was going to be enough push from the THSCA to get something done here, but I was wrong.

Yes. Realignment will be in February. But we'll find out the division splits in December. It was December 3rd in 2019 and December 8th in 2021.

One year (not 100% sure which, maybe 2019?), I know that we found out the split on the Wednesday of semi-finals week. That was the first Wednesday in December.

If Dell City, Dime Box, and Matagorda do not play football, then I could see the number being 61.5. I think that would put 78 schools in D1 and 75 schools in D2.
