Post Vic Shealy Keynote Speaker Southeast Texas Clinc May 19
Coaches,

We are proud to announce newly named Houston Baptist (NCAA FCS) Head Football Coach Vic Shealy will be our keynote speaker at the Southeast Coaching Clinic May 19 held at Emery High School. Coach Shealy has a great background in coaching. He comes to Houston Baptist after serving as defensive coordinator for Kansas. But, more importantly he has a genuine interest in developing young men through football. His topic will be "Leading Young Men On and Off The Field". We are very excited to have him speaking!

This is going to be a great day to hear a very experienced group of coaches speak. We are about three weeks away from the clinic. If you have not done so already please make sure to get your registrations in by May 11th to avoid the late-registration fee. Link to registration and clinic schedule below.

Coaches,

Couple weeks away from the clinic. Please make sure to get your registrations in this week. To avoid late registration they must be forms and payments must be received by this Satuday, May 12. We need to make sure to have plenty of food for all attending. If you know you are attending and are sending in the payment and registration form this week please just send me an email at aadams@emeryweiner.org.

Coaches,

I'm still getting emails and phone calls about attending the Saturday's clinic. We are still accepting registrations and will have on-site registration Saturday morning. If you plan on attending please let me know by email aadams@emeryweiner.org so we can have an accurate head count for food.

There was one change in the speaker schedule. Coach Thornton from Kerrville Our Lady of The Hills will not be able to attend. Instead we will have a Special Teams Chalk Talk during his time. So, bring your thoughts with you.

Looking forward to a great day on Saturday!

Thank you,

Coach Adams

Wanted to thank all the speakers and coaches for attending the first Southeast Texas Sixman Coaching Clinic held at Emery High School in Houston. We enjoyed having the coaches in attendance on our campus, and I think things went well for our first time hosting. I look forward to putting it together again in the future and having it continue to grow each year!

If you are interested in a DVD of the clinic you can email me at aadams@emeryweiner.org for details.

Thank you,

Coach Adams

Thanks! I now truly appreciate the effort it takes to put on a coaching clinic. I've always enjoyed the job Coach Burkhart from Richland Springs has done with the Heart of Texas Clinic, and I'm looking forward to attending the Seguin Lifegate Clinic in June put on by John Taddy. We here at Emery are trying to provide the same quality clinic as those guys for the Southeast Texas coaches.
