I know its early in the season and the rankings are sure to become more accurate as the weeks progress, but based on rankings right now..who do you think is overrated or underated?

I would say Greenville is underrated, Round Rock is overrated and so is Marble Falls Faith based on what i have seen thus far. I also think Hill Country should be moved up a few spots.

Thoughts?

rockwall seems to have been overrated during the offseason... wasnt expecting that loss. hill country is definitely under rated, dont know what happened in the bracken game, but im confident the outcome would be different if the two met later on in the season, too much experience and speed. im just gonna throw out there that bracken is over rated. iv been sayin it since the season started, someone will bring them down this year. achs may be under rated, dont know too much about them yet though. and we can never count kerrville out, wouldnt say they are over or under rated just yet. a meer 4 point victory over geneva was a little unexpected. we will have to see for the rest.

I've noticed they are always in the playoffs but NEVER have I seen them get past the first round since 2006

Austin Hill Country ... losing to Bracken aint a bad loss....
They will be in the mix come playoff time

All because Bracken beat AHCo once doesn't really mean anything (ITS WEEK 0)

I would hesitate to say Bracken is overrated. I saw the game with Austin Hill Country and the two Achilles boys are dominating players. They also had a kid, I believe #8, who made several athletic plays on defense to break-up passes and I believe also had an interception. Not sure they have any other standouts, but year-to-year they seem to have good role players.

I haven't seen Covenant or Abilene, the 2 teams ranked ahead of Hill Country, so hard to say at this point Hill Country is underrated. They do have the core of their team that's been starting for basically the last 3 years, so I think the expectations are pretty high and deservedly so becasue they have some great athletes. Noticed a couple guys on the sidelines as well, one of which was #12 who was a contributor/speed guy last year on offense and defense.

Haven't seen Tomball so I hesitate to call them overrated, but it seems like the last few years they have been hyped because of the size of thier kids, but they didn't have a whole lot of speed or endurance. In other words, they looked intimidating getting off the bus but at game time you could run by them and eventually wear them out.

I know folks sometimes are sensitive about Greenville. Haven't seen them either, but based on all the talk last year about how you can't count them out because of their history and coaching, and they ended up bowing out early in the playoffs, let's just say they maybe more than any other team really need to prove it on the field this year.

It is very early in the season to jump to judgement on any team.
