rainjacktx, if your kid is at school at Valley, I know how you feel. Going back to my high-school days, I didn't like Borden County. I'm still a little bitter about a game we played in 1987.(I know, I know. My wife tells me I hang on to grudges to long, but damn it some things are important.) :P Take a wild guess where my kids go to school now. After the first year, you will find yourself rooting for the kids from your old rival just like you grew up there. It still bugs me to see baby blue & red clothes on my kids though.

Sands or Ira?

I'm a Dawson Dragon, Class of '90. When we started working to transfer our kids out of Lamesa, we looked into Dawson. The three teachers still there from my school days found out I was looking into sending my kids there and all threatened to quit. Seems they still remember me. There fore my kids are at BC.

I'm just going to get this out of the way. I am a Patriot Fan, now.

After 10 years of almost constant baiting you guys, I am now one of you. If the irony of this is lost on you - there is no help for you.

But hey - I'd walk across hot coals for my little girl. If being a Patriot Fan is what it takes to allow her to reach her potential, then paint my face blue and give me one of those rock-filled gallon jugs.

I'm a Gordon product. When we moved to the farm when my kids were in Jr. High it was in Strawn school district, they had to ride the bus so that's the school they had to go to. Some people ask "how could you root for Strawn?" If you knew me you would understand the question, but I told them when your kids are on the field it doesn't matter.

When I was talking to CSRARM last year, I told him to jump in with both feet the water is fine. And welcome to the dark side. So have fun.
