PADUCAH
FALLS IN AUSTIN - The
Paducah Dragons fell to Lipan in the Class A Division II State
title game, 58-49. Lipan (33-4) just played too solid of basketball
against Paducah (28-7) Thursday at the Frank Erwin Center.

RICHLAND
SPRINGS WINS TITLE - Tyler
Ethridge showed the six-man world why he is the best freshman
(and maybe the best player overall) in the game, leading the
Coyotes to a 58-38 win in Abilene over the Valley Patriots.

as well as the completed playoff brackets, public
and private.
HERITAGE,
GREENVILLE TAKE TAPPS TITLES - Greenville
Christian captured the TAPPS Division I title, 74-56 Saturday
afternoon, while Frederickburg Heritage took the D-II title
with a 42-22 win over Happy Hill. Check out the (almost
final) rankings.

THEN THERE WERE TWO - It
is down to what we had picked in the preseason, Richland Springs

VISTA, EP BETHEL CANCEL SEASON - The
Buena Vista Longhorns have cancelled their season, according
to head coach Ronny Miller. The Bethel Temple Knights also
cancelled after a rash of injuries.

before on their way to call a game in Wheeler. Read

FOLLETT
FALLS IN STATE BASEBALL FINAL - Follett fell to Shiner,
13-3 in the state Class A Final. The Panthers (23-4) defeated
Pineland West Sabine 1-0, behind a 1-hitter from Jared Robertson
at Disch-Falk Field in the class A state semifinals. Click
